Take the 101 west from Laurel Canyon or Coldwater Canyon, exit Reseda Blvd, then go south two blocks to Ventura. About twenty minutes off-peak.
Via Ventura Boulevard
The no-freeway option: Ventura Blvd west through Sherman Oaks and Encino the whole way. Slower, closer to thirty-five minutes, but simple.
